well, that is the short of it...
in addition, i like to laugh. A LOT!
i have also been called an exposed nerve...
yep, i cry more easily than anyone else i know
{it must be all of that passion ;)}
as mentioned - newly married...
however, i have been with my guy for over 14 years!!!
yep, we're in it...all the way through to the old, gray & saggy days ;)
& i wouldn't have it any other way!!!
i am such a lucky girl to have married this really amazing guy who is also my best friend!
we aren't on the kid path, but we have 2 beautiful kitties who have been our girls for the past 13 years.
i am currently a visual merchandiser,
but after falling in love with designing my own wedding,
i will be exploring the path of wedding/event designer {with a very good friend of mine}
over the next year, with a goal of being full speed ahead by September 2013...
it's going to be a very good year :)
that is all that comes to mind right now,
but if there is anything else you would like to know
feel free to shoot me an e-mail anytime!
XO
oh wait! just remembered something else that might interest you...
the name of my blog: chartreuse & a twist
well, in case you are wondering how i decided on this name...
many moons ago, when my husband & i moved to seattle,
we dined at this adorable french restaurant in the pike place market, called café campagne
& ordered these lovely cocktails with the liqueur chartreuse in it.
it was a simple cocktail that consisted of chartreuse, soda water & a lemon twist.
this cocktail quickly became a favorite of mine,
hence the name chartreuse & a twist
but, to add on a little more to that, i was enchanted by the history of chartreuse...
the color chartreuse was actually named from the liqueur,
which is a top secret recipe composed of 130 herbs aged with distilled alcohol
& is only known and made by french carthusian monks since the 1740s.
chartreuse has been called "the elixir of life" & the "liqueur of health"
