WEDnesday: flashback to my life as a bachelorette

hello, loves :) 

i thought that i would catch you all up on what i have been up to over the summer…

let’s start with bridal/bachelorette parties! this was definitely one of my most favorite part of the wedding events :) I felt quite lucky to get 2 of these special events in honor…being that I had bridesmaids & friends split between seattle & southern california, it just made the most sense to have one in each location ;)

the 1st was in palm springs…oh how I fell absolutely in love with palm springs! sure, it was 111 degrees at one point, but when all you are doing is laying by/in the pool & have people serving you refreshing cocktails, you hardly notice the heat {that is until you step barefoot onto the concrete…ouch!}...it was just was this seattle gal needed ;) it was a small group – 4 of us – and we had the most amazing 3 days…it mostly involved pool time, mimosas & good old fashioned girl time :)
we are definitely making this an annual girls trip!

the 2nd was the following weekend {yep. back to back bachelorettes… not a lot of recovery time in between, but i somehow mananged ;)}. we did a wine tasting tour out in woodinville – about 20 minutes outside of seattle. i had such a lovely time with my girls…and true to form, things got a little fuzzy by the 4^th winery ;) oh! we also stopped by a vodka distillery where there distill a vodka made purely by Washington apples…hands down the most interesting & delicious vodka I have tasted. It had a hint of caramel!
good times, ladies...good times :)

all in all, let me just say…i seriously have the best friends a girl could ask for!!! they threw me the most amazing parties... & for that - and them, of course! - i am so, so grateful :)
