hello loves!
happy WEDnesday :)
let's talk a little bit about wedding traditions...
my fiance & i are going mostly non-"traditional", with a few traditions sprinkled in here or there.
when it comes to the tradition of the bride & groom not seeing each other
until the bride walks down the aisle...
well, we are just throwing that one out the window & replacing it with
"tradition nouveau"...
yep, we are doing the first look!!!
here are a few reasons why:
1. i am little miss waterworks... some people in my family have even gone so far as to say that
i am an"exposed nerve". no joke ;) so, i am hoping that this first look will get some of those
initial emotions out before i am standing in front of our guests :)
{hmmm...80% chance that i will still be an emotional wreck all day...
ah well! it seems like a good 'just in case' reason anyway!}
2. this allows us to get all bridal party photos done before the wedding begins...
meaning that we get to enjoy cocktail hour with our friends & family...heck yeah ;)
there is only so much time in this day & i know it will fly by...so every second counts!
3. the amazing photos that will come from this moment!!!
i don't know how we will stage it all yet, but i am loving looking
at other couple's 'first look' photos for inspiration :)
i can't wait to see how our photos turn out!!!
