color collective : neutral + a pop!

hello friends!

you have no idea how excited i am to be 

{finally} exposing my color post for this week!!!
the color choice is one of my personal favorites
& i was so inspired to create this post...it was so much fun ;)

this week, we branched out from solid colors 

and went for neutrals w/ a pop of color...

i chose coral as my pop!

i didn't really have a lot of this color combo readily availble, 

so i gathered odds & ends and did a little crafting...

first, i decided to paint the tops of my corks 

(i have a LOT of corks saved up from over the years!)

i used my watercolors, but did not correctly dilute to leave them more thick...

et voila! neutral + a color pop corks!
then, i thought the corks would make the perfect imperfect polka dots stamp!
so, i painted & stamped on my beige cardstock...
et voila! neutral + a color pop notecards!

last, i threw together a paper flower made from paper bag brown tissue paper 

& added strokes of coral watercolor...et voila! neutral + a pop paper flower!

so excited to see what everyone who will be linking up came up home...
