i really hope that you all don't mind me sharing more
details about my own wedding...
the thing is that i just can't help it!
i am thinking about it non-stop...
ummm...and i might just have a panic attack!
i am officially 6 months out...YIKES!
{i had to count it out 3 times just to be sure...yep, 6 months}
okay, brynn...breathe...
let's just talk about the pretty stuff for now...
that always calms me right down :)
i am an ambiance girl, no doubt about it...
and details are everything to me! without them, the interest is lacking.
i have been doing a lot of thinking about where i want the detail focus to lie...
as a designer i know that it is important to draw the from the ground up...
and the up is often forgotton.
so i definitely want to create some interest above all of the action
{i.e. the eating, drinking & dancing!}
our event is mostly outdoors...
there will be globe lights strung across the dining tables & the dance floor.
in between the strands of lights i plan on hanging some sort of streamers...
i have some ideas up my sleeves, but nothing solid enough to share.
in the meantime, i thought i would share some images
that have inspired my own project :)
my absolute favorite inspiration so far is this lovely display...it is just so gorgeous!
{perhaps i am partial because it is the majority of our wedding colors}

Wow, love these images!!! I really hope you have streamers; they look magical!! Now I'm trying to think of some excuse for a party where I could convince my husband we HAVE to have streamers! We've been married for 2.5 years, and that was right around the time of the paper pom craze. Those were one of my favorite accessories!

Wedding planning can be so exciting and nerve-wracking at the same time but don't forget to slow down and enjoy the process. I adore streamers. They are both festive and magical at the same time. I strung these metallic pailettes and hung them from our ceilings for our wedding lunch party. It was really pretty when the light reflected off of them.
Basically, your wedding is going to be unbelievably gorgeous!!! It is sooooo nervous and fun and frantic and delightful to wedding plan...but sounds like you've got a great start :) LOVE the idea of having streamers stretched across the top, almost like a "tent"...really neat!!!
