a spring wedding . . .
a season of romance
invites a wedding filled with
feminine details
of frilly flowers,
fresh spring pastels,
& handmade touches
{church / lemonade in mint green bottles / stout spigot cruet / handmade boutonnieres / giant blooms / sally king benedict painting / cake pop cake / diy cherry blossoms / petal dishes / flatware / flowers in jars / rose bubbly / rustic feminine tablescape / bride / bridesmaids}
hello, my lovelies :)
happy WEDnesday to you!
i have been sharing so much about my wedding with you all lately...
which has been so much fun!
i am loving to see all of the bits & pieces start to take true life form!
however, i have decided that i am in need of a little break from my own wedding...
it's a nice breath of fresh air to think about an entirely different event for a moment
{even if make believe}
planning has been a bit of a roller coaster...
completely fantastic, don't get me wrong...
but there are those times where i have climbed to the highest point,
only to look down into the inevitable drop of feeling completely overwhelmed.
i always get back on a steady track...after reminding myself to breath,
and to take things one step at a time.
{i promised myself & others that i would NOT, under any circumstance,
turn into a bridezilla...so far, so good!}
being a do-it-myself bride has been an interesting journey so far!
i am relishing in every moment possible :)
have a lovely day!!!
XO

dont worry brynn, i promise its normal to have a few freak out moments and get overwhelmed by all the planning. just try to take things day by day and focus on one or two things per week. i have finally been able to enjoy planning and not get too worried about every little detail. in the end you still get to marry your best friend and you two will make it wonderful no matter what! xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
A perfect recipe for your spring wedding!
Hang in there girl! I'm sure it can be overwhelming at times. You are so smart to focus on other things for a bit! It will definitely be refreshing. You'll return to your own planning with a fresh and new outlook!
Try not to stress. Everything will turn out perfectly and your big day will be absolutely fabulous ... I just know it!
Planning is such a roller coaster! You are doing well and I love all of your inspiration. The florals are just lovely.
Those florals are gorgeous.

It's definitely nice to take a break from wedding planning! And you really don't seem to be the type to become a bridezilla, so I think you're good.
Loving these inspiration boards and colors! Your wedding is going to be gorgeous! xo
i think that every bride has those moments ( i'm sure i will when it comes closer to our date) but just try to relax and know that if something goes wrong, oh well! they say it's good luck! :)
Amazing blog, so happy I found it, we definitely have similar styles.
