objects of color : shades of blues + gold

hello lovelies!!!

i am so excited that it is tuesday...

do you know why?

it is the 2nd color link up!

i was ecstatic to see a few {or more} of you link up last week...

and from the sounds of it, it looks like i may see a few additional 

new faces on the link-up today!!!

i can't tell you how much i am enjoying this series so far...

it is challenging and inspiring all at once!

this weeks color choice was shades of blue + gold...

blues + gold i own: 1/ gold bow earrings //  2/ turquoise glass flowers - perfect for holding small jewels  //  3/ vintage blue glass soda bottle  //  4/ mermaid rifle birthday card from my friend, mina  //  5/ italian vase  //  6/ vintage turquoise fabric  //  7/ vintage spanish tray from madrid  //  8/ miscellaneous blue buttons  //  9/ blue beaded baubles  //  10/ favorite ever chambray shirt {i probably wear it WAY too much!}  //  11/ blueberries {favorite fruit!} in a tiffany blue ramekin  //  12/ backdrop: my favorite gold glitter wrapping paper {some of you might recognize from misc. holiday projects}

oh, how this color combo makes me dream of warm summer days...

soaking in the sun...on the warm sandy beach...

in reality, those days are far, far away...

so, i will just take this one last sunny day in seattle

{back to rain tomorrow through who knows when}

and pretend like it is summer :)

my southern california friends & family laugh at me 

when i get excited about a 57 degree day in february...

but truly it is like paradise for us up here in the pacific northwest :)
