objects in color : a valentine's day palette

happy valentine's day to you all!

i will admit...i am not much of a valentine's girl

and dan and i don't usually do anything special for the holiday...

i am pretty sure that we will be enjoying the usual tonight: dinner & a film at home :)
{can't go wrong!} 

however, i do have to say that all of you have been inspiring me more & more

with your pretty valentine's posts, diy v-day cards, gift lists...

so, i thought what the heck?! why not participate in all of the fun?!

that and the fact that i was all planned to do today's color post on orange

{totally forgetting about the holiday! silly me!}

until sarah from high styling brought up a good point about doing red instead!

so, here we are...today's color post is all about the day of love :)

red is one color i don't have a ton of, 

so i pulled together a combo of reds, pinks & corals...

pinks, reds & corals i own:  1//  background: a city map of the most romantic city in the world {paris, of course!} seemed so appropriate here :)  2//  retro 80s belt  3//  davines hair polishing coat No 10 for wizards  4//  pink bowl full of berries  5//  marimekko wrapping paper + red statement earrings  6//  coral glass full of buttons  7//  random red yarn pom-pom  8//  random crochet cherries  9//  random red craft feathers + essie polish in tart deco  10//  berry anthropologie baubles  11//  favorite shades of mac pinks - girl about town, impassioned & {wish i knew...but can no longer read the name of the shade!}  12//  hot pink fabric {to be used in some way/shape/form for the wedding!}  13//  coral baubles  14//  red paper straws tied with pink candy stripe ribbon
{psst! 'confetti' is pink & berry sugar crystals used for baked goods decor}
