WEDnesday: bridesmaids

hello loves!
happy WEDnesday :)
today, i thought i would share my inspirations for
my girls' bridesmaid dresses!
i have been struggling for sometime with even knowing
what in the world i wanted...
well, i think i finally nailed it down!
our color palette is a mix of juicy and watercolor citrus tones...
instead of being all over the place with color in the bm dresses,
{originally i wanted to mix in a chartreuse-y green, too}
i decided to just go with multiple tones of pinks, corals & oranges.
i definitely want to get some pattern in there, somewhere, too!
i also want them to have fun shoes, too!

{row 1: 1/2/3/4/5  //  row 2: 1/2 //  row 3: 1/2/3/4/5  //  shoes via}
{p.s. i just picked up the 2 madewell dresses {2nd & 5th dresses on the bottom row for $79 a piece!!!}

for any brides out there looking for bm dresses that aren't really bm dresses...
polyvore is a fabulous resource, of course!
but i also found revolve clothing to be an awesome resource as well...
you can search dresses and it will bring up a variety of brands to look through!
what did or what will your girls wear?

and...totally unrelated, but...if you missed yesterday's post, i started a new color series
and want to know if anyone wants to participate & link up next tuesday...
so, if you missed it make sure to check it out here!

have a lovely day!
XO

OMG! What pretty dresses. I would wear them even if I weren't a bridesmaid. Those dresses are gorgeous, I'd love to wear some of those to a date.

I love that you're looking at dresses that aren't really bm dresses. It's so nice to have something versatile. And patterns for bm dresses? LOVE!!

Those are GORGEOUS...they will be so bright nad fun, and really make flowers stand out too. What a great look for a wedding! Mine (I got married in June 2011) was actually quite different...I did a vintage theme almost like a black and white movie. So the girls wore black pinstriped pencil skirt cocktail dresses and carried white flowers with really pretty grey trailing grosgrain bows. I put them in little grey vintage-y shoes too. But I love the bright colours you've picked...it will be lovely!

My bridesmaids wore black cocktail dresses, but my wedding colors were predominantly black and white. My girls loved the fact that they could wear the dresses again, and they have!
