i think that, from a very young age, when you meet your very first friend
you realize the value of friendship...
maybe not in the deeper sense that you do when you are older & wiser,
but you do appreciate your friends.
i must say that i have always been quite a lucky girl :)
from the time i met my very first best friend up to now,
i have been extremely blessed to have the most amazing girlfriends!
i have never been one to have lots of friends...just a handful of extra special ones :)
there is just nothing in this world like a childhood best friend...
sharing secrets, playing make-believe, making up dance routines, getting into trouble together,
riding bicycles, exploring, dressing up, making over, getting scared in the dark,
being inseparable.
and then, you have your "grown-up" friends...and there is nothing quite like them either...
sharing secrets, daydreaming, going out dancing for girls' night, getting into trouble together,
riding bicycles, traveling, dressing up, making over,
being inseparable {even with 1000+ miles in between}
isn't it funny how a whole lot doesn't really change over time?!
i am feeling extra sentimental about my girlfriends right now...
as i am planning one of the biggest days of my life,
i just keep thinking of how grateful i am to have
my favorite girls by my side <3
speaking of which...
if only i had seen these before i asked them to be my bridesmaids!
{& then, out of the blue, i just heard from my childhood best friend! so weird, as i have been feeling all sentimental & nostalgic about my friends lately! it was such a pleasant & unexpected surprise!}
what are you dahhhlings up to this weekend?
all fabulousness, i am sure ;)
i will be pampering myself a bit...
hair, facial, nails...i am in need of it all!!!
cheers!
