that i was in morocco

 ...i was staying at the most lovely home in all of morocco...

 it was hard to peel myself away from that pool, but i somehow managed to change to head out to the souks...

oh...all of the lovely lanterns, spices, beads & textiles...

i made some beautiful purchases...

as i left the souks and headed to meet up with dan & friends for a little camel trekking, 

i happened upon the loveliest of doors...the most beautiful details i had ever seen...

okay...getting distracted...running late...

so, off to camel trekking we went in the Erg Chebbi sand dunes...

then jetted off to dinner, where we enjoyed some delicious mint tea...mmm

well, there just seemed to be nothing that sounded better than hitting the hookah...

hello friends, how are you today? 

i have been feeling under the weather all day and am just now starting to come around 

{hence the very late evening post}...

i seem to have caught some sort of bug :( so, i stayed home from work to rest up... 

i ended up alternating between sleeping & watching films in bed most of the day. 

one of my all-time favorite comfort films is breakfast at tiffany's {sigh}...

how could you not love this classic? audrey is just simply the best...i adore her {swoon}

i have always loved her blue & gold sleeping shade...

if i could ever find an exact replica it would be mine!

and what if i used that eye shade as inspiration for eye make-up?

happy tuesday, lovelies! oh, do i have a goody for you today :) i have a new obsession...yikes! are any of you familiar with polyvore? if you are not...and you adore fashion & style...and you enjoy being creative...you MUST check it out...it is like paper dolls for adults! polyvore is an online community where you get to create outfits and pin up inspirational photos to create collages...i am in love! i imagine you could even use this to create a collage for interior design, random art projects, etc...really, anything that your big creative heart desires :)

hello spring, so nice to see you again!

hello friends :) how have you been on these first few days of spring? i hope it is treating you right so far!  it could not be a more perfect, more beautiful day here in seattle...i mean WOW! i can't believe that spring has finally {officially} arrived...and that i can celebrate with true blue skies & sunshine! i tell you, i could not be happier :)

with the turn of the season, i have definitely been instinctively getting into organized mood. i started a few weeks ago when i started organizing my art supplies {will continue to be a work in progress} and ever since then, i have been inspired to take little steps here & there to clean my act up... i my living room, I have started to redecorate my bedroom & i am also looking at how i can freshen up my bathroom...and you may have noticed that the blog got a little make-over. I just wanted it to feel crisp & clean & let the images that i post be the shining stars without having to fight with background graphics. i also wanted a clean, legible font...though i loved the idea of the handwriting because it made the blog feel as if it was a handwritten journal, it was just too much.  i am also focusing on eating more clean, too - i am sick of heavy foods and just want lots of veggies & clean protein! okay, now i am blabbing...i should work on cleaning that up, too!
with all of that said, i thought that i would share some images that i find inspiring to help me along my spring-cleaning path...
