{brynn & dan's italian dinner date night}
i have been such a good girl for well over a month now!
in effort to whip my eating habits & myself into shape,
my daily diet has consisted of the following:
~ oatmeal
~ fish & seafood
~ lots of veggies
~ whole grains {love that quinoa!} & brown rice
~ fruit to subside my every-so-often sweet tooth
~ emergency stand-bys: raw almonds & dark chocolate
i have dedicated myself to this way of life & it has been incredibly enjoyable...
i just feel lighter and better...it's great!
HOWEVER {dun, dun, dunnnnn}
note that you see NO bread on there...scary, i know, but i have been able to do it!!!
{until last friday}
yes, i decided to live a little :)
i was desperately craving a mad bowl of spaghetti
{not bragging, but i make a really delicious spaghetti}...
& rosemary bread with olive oil...
& wine {something i don't think i could ever give up!}
so, when i told dan it was going to be a carb-fest kind of night,
he was all for it!!!
{whole wheat spaghetti w/ spicy italian sausage, zucchini & mushrooms,
topped with parmesan, sun-dried tomatoes & arugula}
it was sooooooooooooooooooo delicious!
{and then i went right back to my healthy eating regimen}

{and i was so excited about it, too!}
it was an 'i had a dream last night' series & it had been a long while since the last,
so i was all pumped about doing a new one...it is one of my favorite series :)
