norman "sailor jerry" collins is a tattoo legend, referred to as the "father of old-school american tattooing". you can read more about him here.

i actually just learned of him through my boss, jeff, who has admired his work for a very long time and is currently having some tattoo work done based off of sailor jerry's style.
i absolutely adore his artwork! it is so darn cute!
i am not much for tattoos for myself {though i appreciate them very much on others}
but i want to own a little sailor jerry art collection to hang somewhere in my home!
{hmmm...i am picturing a super cute bathroom}
